Fuel Up Healthy, Go logo

Fuel Up Healthy, GO! is a free program for elementary classrooms that promotes healthy habits by encouraging students to eat well and stay active. Designed for all Kindergarten–5th grade classrooms in the Washoe County School District, this program takes very little class time and offers fun incentives for participation. Classrooms that complete the program will earn small prizes for students and be entered to win additional rewards.

How does it work?

Teachers choose one activity from the participation options or create an activity of your own to complete with your class. The program is self‑paced and can be done anytime from August through April. To receive your classroom prizes, please submit the program completion form by April 30.

Why should my classroom participate?

It's FUN!  Activities put a playful, engaging twist on healthy eating and living active.

It's GOOD for KIDS!  Healthy habits are the foundation of lifelong well-being for children and teens - and they can boost student's academic performance.

It's EASY!  Participation is free, and you can implement the program at your own pace.
