Community HIV & STD Testing Opportunities

We offer free, confidential HIV and STD (chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis) testing throughout the community! We use rapid HIV tests, so the results are available in 20 minutes. STD results are available one week after the testing was completed.

People who have symptoms of a STD (discharge, pain during sex, pain while urinating) and people that have been told by a sex partner that they have a STD or might have been exposed, need to make an appointment in the Sexual Health Clinic (775-328-2470). Exams and medications are not available during our community testing and we want to make sure that you have the opportunity for treatment at the clinic.

Northern Nevada HIV Prevention Planning Group (NNHPPG)

The NNHPPG is dedicated to promoting community participation and involvement in HIV prevention and care services and activities, reducing the duplication of services and improving the coordination of service implementation, and strengthening local and statewide partnerships in the fight against the spread of HIV in Northern Nevada.
